Abstract

The Internet of Things, or "IoT" for short, is a modern concept that refers to extending the possibilities of the Internet beyond its natural computer environment to a wide range of other processes and environments. The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is a special part of the IoT that is continuously gaining in strength and popularity. The Internet of Medical Things supports traditional health systems by improving their performance by increasing efficiency, effectiveness, reliability and scalability. This paper deals with issues of security and privacy of Internet of Things primarily in the field of medical Internet of Things. The main threats to security are presented first, followed by threats to the privacy of medical Internet of Things. The focus of the paper is on presenting the main models for protecting the security and privacy of medical internet of things.
