Abstract

One of the goals of writing this paper is to encourage younger generations, especially pupils and students, to get more involved in solving environmental protection issues. In this paper, we will try to examine the significance of the new economic model, the green economy, and its contribution to solving climate change problems that have far-reaching consequences for the lives of people, plant, and animal species on planet Earth. The importance of environmental protection for the survival of the planet in its current state is highlighted by the fact that many governments, corporations, governmental and non-governmental organizations have supported the implementation of projects in this area. We will present several areas where the green economy currently a dominant role and where respectable results has have been achieved, which have had a significant impact on the development of the green economy.
